Obstetrical Care

Early and regular care is important to assure having a healthy baby. We provide you with a whole health team which includes obstetricians and a registered nurse practitioner. This is a group practice and we ask that you meet with all providers in the group during your pregnancy.

In addition to general obstetrics we are qualified to manage high-risk situations as well. High risk obstetrics includes management of preterm labor, high blood pressure, twin pregnancies and diabetes. If necessary, we may consult with perinatologists at nearby university centers, if a patient needs specialized care.

VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) To see if you are a candidate you must meet minimum criteria: at least one vaginal delivery previously, no more than one low segment transverse cesarean section, no induction in present pregnancy. The doctors will review all information with you at your first appointment.

If you have questions re: medications to take or chemicals that you may be exposed to during your pregnancy please contact the Pregnancy Environmental Hot line 781-487-2386.

In conjunction with Monadnock Community Hospital we offer childbirth classes, breast feeding classes, sibling classes, please contact Pat O'Connell for further information or a complete list of classes.

The Bond Wellness Center also offers Prenatal Yoga and Prenatal Aquatics classes. To inquire about those classes please call 924-7191 and ask for the Bond Wellness Center.
